Eucharistic Adoration
In his pastoral letter, “Learning Our Faith, Loving Our Faith, Living Our Faith”, Bishop Tod Brown held up for our example two saints of our own time as examples for us to follow: Pope John Paul II and Blessed Mother Teresa. While writing about faith at one point in the letter the bishop asked: “What enabled Mother Teresa to get up in the morning?”
Both John Paul II and Blessed Mother Teresa were dedicated to Eucharistic Adoration and our Blessed Mother. Mother Teresa had daily holy hours of adoration and it has been said that on days she was busy, she spent more than one hour in adoration. John Paul II was convinced the faith of parishes would increase if Eucharistic Adoration was established.
Our local CUF Chapter has hands-on experience supporting Eucharistic Adoration not only in Southern California but in other dioceses as well. In cooperation with www.adorationservants.org we have available free world class software that makes the management of Eucharistic Adoration easy. What we need is at least one person in a parish willing to lead the implementation of Eucharistic Adoration.
We can increase Adoration in our diocese to the greater glory of God.
